Social Media Engagement & Content Executive [Trinco Only]
The Role
This is a full-time on-site position for a Social Media Engagement & Content Executive, based in Trincomalee. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content for various platforms, managing social media accounts, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize engagement. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams to ensure cohesive branding across channels and staying updated on industry trends to innovate social media strategies.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Social Media Marketing and Content Strategy to drive engagement and brand awareness
- Proficiency in Social Media & Web Content Writing with AI and Management for various platforms
- Apply audience engagement growth strategies and share best practices to our Social Media Channels
- Use social media strategies to deepen our relationship with both new audiences and existing subscribers.
- Implement Social Media tactics to enhance community conversation on all our channels.
- Provide regular best practices to elevate our content, ensuring we are poised to be an industry leader in the social media space.
- Knowledge of analytics tools for measuring social media performance and insights
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to collaborate within a team
- Experience in digital marketing, particularly with AI tools, is a plus
- Develop strategies that encompass the entire audience journey.
- Implement Social Media tactics to enhance community conversation on all our channels.
- Provide regular best practices to elevate our content, ensuring we are poised to be an industry leader in the social media space.
- Translate data points into actionable insights. The right candidate deeply understands data tools and knows how to apply their analytical mindset to content. This is a hands-on data job.
- Create and monitor reporting and KPI progress, including metrics for engagement, and relevance.
- Assist MetaTager in troubleshooting social media issues, including leading communications with social media platforms and related vendor tools.
- Develop and manage relevant reporting for new social media experiments and initiatives.
- Partner with the content creation team on new efforts to enhance our content and grow audience on social media and distributed platform channels.
- Strong English Communication skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, IT or a related field is advantageous
- Expertise in Social Media Marketing and Content Strategy
- Proficiency in Social Media & Web Content Writing and Management
- Must be located in commutable distance to Trincomalee, Eastern Province, Sri Lanka
